Vigorous strain often used by commercial celery growers near southern CA, tall dark green plants, thick smooth stalks 10-12 in. long to the first joint if well grown, sweet without blanching, brown check resistant, seems to be tolerant to some strains of Western celery mosaic. Grows best in climates with long, moderate temperature seasons. 100-120 days. Approximately 1950 seeds per 1/32 ounce packet.
