Have you given up on summer squash because of squash vine borers? Tromboncino squash is technically a winter squash, but when picked early, it tastes like a summer squash. It has solid stems so it is resistant to squash vine borer. Pick when light green and 1 foot long for a summer squash taste. If left to mature, tomboncino grows up to 3 feet long! Best grown on a trellis. 70 days
